Black holes are regions in space where forces of gravity are so strong that not even light is able to escape. The immense amount of gravity is caused because matter has been compressed into a tiny space, black holes are a result of dying stars
Because black wholes crush all light, they are invisible, but with advanced telescopes they can observe the behaviour of material and stars that are close to black holes. |
